The Roborock P20 Ultra robot vacuum has been teased in China. This upcoming model will follow the P20 Pro, which was unveiled last August. The P20 Pro has since rolled out in other countries worldwide, where it is known as the Roborock Qrevo Curv (curr. $1,299.99 at Amazon).
Over the past few days, the company has shared multiple posts about the P20 Ultra on Weibo. The company notes that the robot has a retracting LDS navigation module, which offers a dual viewing angle for navigation. This technology was seen on the recently launched Saros 10, where Roborock refers to the feature as RetractSense. The benefit of the lowering sensor is that the robot can fit under low-lying furniture items; it is only 7.98 cm (~3.1 inches) tall, making it one of the brand’s slimmest models.
The P20 Ultra is shown with two docking stations with the same dome shape as the Curv’s dock. Presumably, one of these is designed to be fitted to your home plumbing, while the other has water tanks to make it a complete solution. Images of the device also appear to show the FlexiArm extending brush, which reaches into corners and along the edge of each room.
Further details, including the suction power, battery life and mopping technology, have yet to be revealed. The Roborock P20 Ultra will be unveiled in China on March 10th, when the pricing of this model is expected to be announced. Roborock has also recently launched the Qrevo Curv S5X and Qrevo Edge S5A robot vacuums globally, cheaper versions of the original Curv and Edge models.
