A new version of the Philips Hue app has arrived for iOS and Android users. Version 5.37.1 is the fifth update for the app this year; it follows version 5.36.0, which brought additional tools to organize your smart home scenes.
This latest Philips Hue update adds another organization tool for users with multiple Hue Bridges (curr. $44 at Amazon). The Home tab can now be sorted by Bridge, with the name of each unit used as a heading. To access this feature, tap the ellipses (...) icon > Edit Home tab > Bridge names icon.
Users of Philips Hue Secure cameras can now manually record video clips. This tool is available in the camera’s live view via a new record icon. On top of this, the icon associated with each of your Philips Hue smart lights can be changed. You can do this by tapping the light card and going to …) icon > Light settings. It is worth noting that this feature is only available for users with a Bluetooth setup. You can now download the Philips Hue app version 5.37.1 from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
