RedMagic has relaunched its latest ultra-thin gaming smartphone. Available worldwide, the refresh builds on Prism and Phantom variants with an extra pop of colour. The new RedMagic 11 Air has a higher price of entry than existing options, though.

RedMagic has now released the RedMagic 11 Air in a new finish. Announced earlier this month, the new release follows just two months after RedMagic initially launched its ultra-thin gaming smartphone globally.

To recap, the RedMagic 11 Air comes in at 8 mm thick despite featuring a 7,000 mAh battery. 10% thinner than the RedMagic 11 Pro (curr. $799 on Amazon), the RedMagic 11 Air also features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset plus LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash storage. Additionally, RedMagic includes a 6.85-inch AMOLED display that features a 144 Hz refresh rate and 431 PPI pixel density.

Not only that, but RedMagic includes a 50 MP primary and 8 MP rear-facing cameras, as well as a 16 MP front-facing camera hidden under panel-camera technology. For some reason, RedMagic is only offering its new Trace variant with 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of storage. As a result, the new release starts at $599/€599/£529 compared to $499/€499/£439 for existing Phantom and Prism options.

All Trace pre-orders will ship with a complimentary phone stand. Currently, it seems that RedMagic will begin shipping its new release globally on April 14. Please see our launch article for more hardware details.
