RedMagic 7S-series Android gaming flagship smartphones are set to launch in July 2022
The RedMagic 6S-series smartphones were introduced as flagship refreshes with the Snapdragon 888+ processor. Now, their maker has confirmed that one or both of these devices will get a direct successor in 2022 with the corresponding 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
As RedMagic's own new official teaser reveals, this is one of the only real differences between the 7 Pro and the 7S Pro - mostly because the slightly newer model once again comes with a rear panel with all of its most performance-focused specs plastered all over it.
Therefore, it is now clear that the 7S Pro will rock a 5,000mAh battery, a 20,000 RPM physical (and very visible) RGB fan, shoulder triggers and a cutting-edge under-display camera (UDC) screen along with its updated silicon. On the other hand, RedMagic has updated its ICE cooling system to v10.0.
The 7S Pro also has at least 1 new colorway, which incorporates lots of carbon fiber-effect accents along with its new cool silver shade. The 7 Pro's boxy new camera hump is still in place, however, although it could be described as blending into the overall look rather better this time around.
Therefore, all that remains to find out on the subject of the 7S Pro is that whether it gets much of a mark-up compared to its early-year forebear or not. In addition, there is presumably a whole 7S variant waiting to be unveiled. These new RedMagic Android flagship details may have to wait until July 11, 2022 to be revealed in full.
