AOKZOE has provided more details about the A1, a gaming handheld that the company teased last month. Seemingly another brand of One-netbook, the AOKZOE A1 resembles a cheaper version of the ONEXPLAYER, of which One-netbook now sells various versions. In saying that, the AOKZOE A1 will be available with the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U, an APU that One-netbook has not started offering in an ONEXPLAYER yet.
Regardless, the Ryzen 7 6800U contains the Radeon 680M, an iGPU with 12 Compute Units (CUs), equivalent to 768 shaders. As our early reviews have shown, the Radeon 680M can handle many AAA titles at 1080p and low graphics details, making it comparable with low-end dedicated solutions like the NVIDIA GeForce MX450.
Additionally, the AOKZOE A1 has an 8-inch IPS display operating at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and LPDDR5X-6400 RAM within a 285 x 125 x 21 mm chassis. For reference, the standard AOKZOE A1 will ship with a 48 Wh battery, with AOKZOE including a 65 Wh battery in the A1 Ultimate Edition. Unsurprisingly, the standard version weighs less than its ultimate sibling, although there is only a 50 g difference between the pair at 668 g and 729 g, respectively. Both batteries should support 100 W fast charging, though.
Currently, AOKZOE hopes to open pre-orders this month and fulfil orders in September. The company adds that both models should be available with 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM; pricing and SSD capacities remain unknown at this stage. While AOKZOE has not opened pre-orders yet, it has started sending out pre-release units to the likes of ETA Prime, whose video we have embedded below.
