Nintendo Switch 2 gets a new game bundle that's exclusive to Japan

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been available for more than a year now, and since its release, Nintendo has released a handful of bundles (console + game). Now, it has announced a new bundle that appears to be exclusive to Japan.
The new console bundle is the Monster Hunter Wilds bundle, and its release will coincide with the launch of the Switch 2 version of the game. Monster Hunter Wilds was released in February 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Following its release, it sold 8 million copies in just 3 days (over 11 million copies in total), making it Capcom's fastest-selling video game. It is now scheduled to launch on December 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2. Considering the popularity of the game, this bundle is expected to fly off shelves.
The Switch 2 + Monster Hunter Wilds bundle will be available in Japan only for now, as there's been no report of it being available in Europe and North America. This isn't the first time Japan is getting an excusive console bundle. A few months ago, Nintendo released a Switch 2 + Splatoon Raiders bundle for its home market.
Notwithstanding, when the Switch 2 + Monster Hunters Wilds bundle launches, it will cost JPY 61,980 (~$407/€351) and will come with a digital download code for the game. It will also include a 90-day membership for Nintendo Switch Online. It is worth mentioning that the included console and Joy-Cons seem to be the original version and not the new European version with a user-replaceable battery.
Those who already own a Switch 2 will be able to purchase the standard edition of the game at a discounted price of JPY 3,742 (original price is JPY 4,990) until January 7, 2027. The Gold Edition, which includes the base game and the Cosmetic DLC Collection, costs JPY 7990. Those in Europe and the US will be able to purchase the digital copy of the standard edition for €39.99 and $39.99 respectively.
