Satisfye, an accessory maker, may have inadvertently revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 ahead of time. In a now-deleted ad (spotted by X users @1DaP_PaD1 and @nRAYm2002) for a pair of grips, the company showed a silhouette of what could be the next-gen Switch.
Unfortunately, the image is blurred, so we can't make out some of the finer details. Based on what little we can see, the Nintendo Switch 2 form factor is fundamentally identical to its last-gen counterpart. While it may come with a larger screen, the Joy-cons remain largely unchanged in terms of functionality.
There are murmurs of some kind of magnetic attachment, but there's no way to ascertain that from a still image. Either way, it looks similar to a leaked CAD design revealed earlier. Usually, the appearance of accessories means a final product isn't too far off.
An earlier rumour said the Nintendo Switch 2 would be announced in January 2025 and launch sometime in March. Even if it doesn't happen, Nintendo promised it would be unveiled before FY 2024 ends, so we're guaranteed an announcement by April, at latest.
