Huawei has officially revealed the Band 10, following earlier leaked images. The wearable is a successor to the Band 9, which launched in 2024, featuring a similar design with a couple of minor adjustments.
The Huawei Band 10 has a sleeker aluminum alloy case with sharp edges, which is an update on the more rounded design of the Band 9. It has the same dimensions, with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with an Always on Display (AOD) mode and support for swipe and touch gestures. There are upgrades for sleep tracking, including a new sleep heart rate variability (HRV) metric, a redesigned sleep health report and further sleep analysis. There is also a new emotional wellbeing app, with the assistant recommending ways to improve your current mood.
As on the Band 9, you can track metrics like heart rate, SpO₂ level and stress and log workouts with 100 modes on offer. Other features include call notifications, a multi-colored flashlight and a band finder tool. The maximum estimated battery life is the same at up to 14 days, with the watch fully recharging in 45 minutes. However, it is worth noting that the battery estimate with typical use is lower at eight days, one fewer than the equivalent estimate for the Band 9.
The wearable is compatible with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later. Customers can choose between seven colors: green, blue, purple, pink, white, black and matte black. You can further customize the wearable by choosing from a wide range of watch faces, including new emotion-themed options. Huawei has yet to announce the pricing or availability of the Band 10, with rumors suggesting it could launch in March or April. The Huawei Band 9 is available at Amazon for $56.90/€44.00.
