New Govee Wall Sconce smart light with Sleep and Wake-up modes now available
The Govee Wall Sconce has been launched in the US and Europe. The new smart wall-mounted light has an LED light source for white or colored lighting. Govee describes the product as producing a “Wall-Washing Effect” for softer ambient lighting.
The 30-inch (~76 cm) Wall Sconce has 264 RGBICW LEDS for up to 1,200 lumens brightness. It can be remotely controlled via the Govee Home app, where users can choose from a wide range of colors, or adjust the white color temperature between 2,700 and 6,500K. You can also select from various lighting effects, including a range which can sync to music. Plus, the smart light offers a Sleep mode with warm, automatically dimming lighting, and a timed Wake-Up mode with gently brightening light.
Another control option is to use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, the product supports the Matter protocol, meaning it can integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. You can now buy the Govee Wall Sconce in the US for the discounted price of $69.99, $30 off the $99.99 RRP. This deal is available both at the brand’s online store and its Amazon storefront. EU customers can also buy the smart light at a discount, with the product currently available for €83.99 rather than €119.99. It remains to be seen when the light will launch in the UK.
