New 16-inch laptop confirmed to launch in October with 128 GB RAM and 20-core Nvidia RTX Spark
A few months have passed since MSI unveiled the first 16-inch 2-in-1 to leverage Nvidia's nascent RTX Spark platform. Unveiled in May, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ was one of multiple devices that MSI brought to Computex 2026 in Taipei.
As October approaches, MSI has joined Asus in confirming launch details for its first RTX Spark-backed laptop. As we have covered separately, Asus has already confirmed that the ProArt P16 will be available to order from October 8 in China. For some reason, the same does not appear to be the case for the smaller ProArt P14.
Now, MSI has confirmed that the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ will be joining the ProArt P16 on October 8. Writing on Weibo, MSI clarifies that this is when it expects pre-sales to begin. However, it seems that this date will only apply for the Chinese market. Currently, we cannot find any mention of an October 8 launch on MSI's global social media channels.
Nonetheless, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is set to launch globally with a 120 Hz VRR OLED display that should exceed 1,000 nits peak brightness. Moreover, the convertible laptop combines a 99 Wh battery with a haptic trackpad. Up to 128 GB of RAM will be present to complement Nvidia's 20-core RTX Spark chipset, too.
For reference, the Prestige N16 Flip shares its design with the Intel Panther Lake-based Prestige 16 Flip, which landed earlier this year (curr. $1,978 on Amazon). Incidentally, we have already reviewed MSI's non-flip model with Intel's Arc B390 graphics.
