Geekom releases 14-inch laptop with Core Ultra 5 and Ryzen 5 options

Geekom has started selling the GeekBook M14 in the US, several months after the 14-inch laptop first appeared at CES 2026. The production model is available with both Intel and AMD processors, though its newly published product page currently includes a few contradictory specifications.

At CES, the laptop was presented primarily as an AMD-powered alternative to the company's Intel-based GeekBook X series. It has now appeared on Geekom's US store and is rather different. Its configuration selector currently offers a Ryzen 5 220 model with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, alongside a Core Ultra 5 125U version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

The Ryzen 5 220 is a six-core, 12-thread Hawk Point processor consisting of two Zen 4 and four Zen 4c cores. It boosts to 4.9 GHz and comes with a four-CU Radeon 740M iGPU. AMD rates the chip at a default 28 W TDP. The Core Ultra 5 125U, meanwhile, is a 12-core Meteor Lake processor with two P-cores, eight E-cores and two low-power E-cores. It tops out at 4.3 GHz and includes a four-Xe-core integrated GPU.

Other specs include a 72 Wh battery with up to 17 hours of claimed runtime. It comes with a 100 W USB-C PD charger. The company also advertises IceBlade 3.0 cooling with two fans and two heat pipes, with the M14 apparently capable of sustaining up to 35 W under load. The GeekBook M14's chassis weighs 1.4 kg and measures 16.8 mm thick.

Connectivity on the GeekBook M14 includes a USB 4 40 Gbps port, a full-function USB-C port, an HDMI 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also includes Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, plus a fingerprint reader, 1080p webcam, and 180-degree hinge. Geekom says the box includes a docking station. The Geekom M14, as its name implies, comes with a 14-inch 16:10 display. Its official spec still lists the specifications for the M16, so its actual resolution is unknown.

The Ryzen 5 220 variant with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage costs $999, while the Core Ultra 5 125U version with the same amount of memory and 512 GB storage retails at $1,199.
