The latest rumors suggest that Motorola's next flagship foldable Android smartphone might easily be mistaken for the current Razr 50 Ultra on its launch.
Its successor seems to have the exact same dual screens and general design, just with a different color (and possibly texture) to its vegan leather backing. Should that be the case, the most significant upgrades might be found on the inside for the "Razr 60 Ultra" (or "Plus 2025" for the North American market).
One of them might be its wired charging rate, as the 60 Ultra has now reportedly registered on the 3C regulatory database with Motorola's 68W TurboPower charger (like this one currently available for $39.99 on Amazon), while the 50 Ultra can only charge at up to 45W.
The Razr 60 Ultra has also been spotted using that power brick (the Motorola MC-68xx) on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website under its XT2551 model number. The new certification also confirms that the smartphone has 2 batteries (the RS13 and RS35), as one might expect given its probable clamshell form-factor.
Then again, neither new leak specifies the 60 Ultra's actual battery capacity, or confirms whether it can even use the 68W power brick at full power or not.
The FCC does purport to confirm that the upcoming flagship will have Wi-Fi 7 as well as 5G, Bluetooth and NFC, at least. Hopefully, it will not be long before we can confirm or deny these specs.
