The successor to the Razr 50 Ultra might be just around the corner. Motorola’s next-gen flagship foldable has already been put to the test on Geekbench and improved its multi-core performance by 73.5% compared to the Razr 50 Ultra, thanks to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Now, Android Headlines has released new render pictures that apparently showcase the design of the presumed Razr 60 Ultra or Razr Ultra 2025. According to these images, Motorola is only introducing very few design changes. The smartphone still has a large 4-inch secondary display with two punch-hole cameras and an LED flash. The frame remains slightly rounded, while the power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor is located on the right side, just below the volume buttons.
On the left side, there's a new cutout that could possibly serve as a speaker opening. Moreover, at least one variant will supposedly sport faux leather on the back. The Razr 60 Ultra foldable will reportedly continue to sport a 6.9-inch main display, and at least one configuration of the new smartphone is equipped with 12GB RAM.
Considering that the Razr 50 Ultra was released in June 2024, it might take a few more months until the Razr 60 Ultra is officially unveiled. Until then, we might be left in the dark regarding the other technical improvements that Motorola plans in addition to the significantly faster processor.
For reference, the current Razr 50 Ultra features a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 32MP selfie camera. It also has a 165Hz refresh rate, 3,000-nit AMOLED display and a 4,000mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging.
