Leaker Mukul Sharma, who tweets as @stufflistings, has provided a few details about the Moto G84 5G, a device that has leaked a few times in the last week or so. To recap, references to the Moto G84 5G first appeared online courtesy of the FCC and TDRA, which published initial documentation about the device last week. For reference, the Moto G84 5G is one of a few mid-range smartphones that Motorola plans to release soon, another being the Moto G54.
Subsequently, Evan Blass shared a few marketing images of the device, confirming the unreleased device's launch colours and design tweaks from the Moto G73 and Moto G82. Now, @stufflistings has obtained a different promotional image that appears to reveal a few previously unknown specifications. Namely, the Moto G84 5G features a 120 Hz pOLED display, unlike the IPS and AMOLED panels found in the Moto G73 and Moto G82, respectively.
Additionally, Motorola has opted for a 10-bit colour panel, which matches its direct predecessor. According to @stufflistings, the Moto G84 5G will be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; its chipset remains a mystery at this stage, though. Moreover, the leaker alleges that Motorola hopes to release the device in September, starting in India.
