A YouTuber has got his hands on two Xiaomi 13T retail units ahead of their release. Not only does the unboxing video confirm various rumours, it also confirms that more differences between the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro existed than earlier leaks suggested.

A hands-on video of the Xiaomi 13T has surfaced online, courtesy of Guatemalan YouTuber Eufracio López. While there have been many Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro-related leaks of late, the video embedded below throws some earlier claims into doubt. Namely, it appears that the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will differ in more areas than their chipsets.

Eufracio López's video does not dispute this point, though. Instead, the unboxing video confirms that the Xiaomi 13T features the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra, a chipset that Xiaomi already uses in the CIVI 3. Likewise, Xiaomi has equipped the Xiaomi 13T with the Sony IMX707 as its primary camera. In other words, the Xiaomi 13T will ship with the same primary camera as the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12S Pro rather than the lesser Sony IMX800 found in the Redmi K60 Ultra.

However, the Xiaomi 13T lacks any Leica branding, which was rumoured to be headed to it and the Xiaomi 13T Pro. Additionally, López has since demonstrated to Sudhanshu Ambhore that the Xiaomi 13T also houses the Omni OV50D, OmniVision OV13B10 and Sony IMX596, 50 MP telephoto, 13 MP ultra-wide-angle and 20 MP front-facing cameras respectively. Moreover, López's video shows the Xiaomi 13T in green, a colourway that was expected to remain a Redmi K60 Ultra exclusive. The devices shown below do not appear to be North American exclusives, either.

Considering that the model number '2306EPN60G' can be seen at various points through López's video, it would seem that he has obtained global models rather than regional variants. The Xiaomi 13T will be capable of recharging its 5,000 mAh battery at up to 67 W too, with 120 W remaining a 'Pro' model exclusive. As it stands, Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro globally in time for a September 1 release. Incidentally, hands-on photos of the Xiaomi 13T Pro have also now surfaced online, which we have covered separately.
