Microsoft announces DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Xbox accessories ahead of game's release

Ahead of the official release of Doom: The Dark Ages, Xbox has announced special edition accessories based on the video game. The accessories include the Xbox Wireless Controller – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition, and a DOOM: The Dark Ages console wrap for the Xbox Series X (available on Amazon for $498).

The special edition Xbox Wireless Controller has a matte green color similar to the armor of the Slayer. It also has 3D silver helmet spikes at the top and silver-plated sheating on the two sides, while the right thumbstick is red to match the chest port of the Doom Slayer. The controller also has a blood splattered design, a red left shoulder button, and runes in place of the ABXY buttons.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition is priced at $79.99 and comes with a DOOM Slayer Executioner skin DLC. It is exclusive to the Microsoft Store for now but will be available later at other retailers.

On the other hand, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition has a design that highlights the Mark of the Slayer. The top case is transparent red with ember-like flakes that mimic fiery pits while the rest of the body is black. Priced at $199.99, it is available for pre-order now and will be released on April 25.

Last but not least is an Xbox Series X wrap that also highlights the Mark of the Slayer written on a background of shattered rock. The inside of the wrap also has inscriptions and symbols from the game. The $54.99 console wrap is available to buy now from the Microsoft store and is suitable for both the disc version and the Xbox Series X All-Digital Version (available on Amazon for $434.99), thanks to having a removable disc cover. Like the other two accessories, buyers can only purchase one unit.
