RedMagic 10 Air: Global release date and pre-launch offers revealed for new gaming smartphone
RedMagic has just released its latest gaming-focused smartphone, albeit only in China. For reference, the company presented the RedMagic 10 Air while sharing a new teaser for its future gaming tablet. Incidentally, fresh details about the latter have since emerged online too, which point to the unnamed device being a more compact and powerful option than the existing RedMagic Nova (curr. $649 on Amazon).
Rather than letting the dust settle on the device's Chinese release, RedMagic has decided to race ahead and confirm when the RedMagic 10 Air will be available globally. As the teaser below shows, the RedMagic 10 Air will debut outside China on April 23. The company has committed to offering launch discounts and prizes too ranging from a $10 coupon to a free RedMagic 10 Air. Please note that you must provide an email address on a dedicated microsite to be in with a chance of winning any of RedMagic's prizes or launch discounts.
Seemingly, the global version of the RedMagic 10 Air retains the same hardware as the Chinese variant that arrived earlier today. For example, RedMagic has confirmed that the global variant will combine a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with a 6,000 mAh battery, 80 W wired charging and an extensive vapour chamber cooling solution.
Also, the RedMagic 10 Air has a 6.8-inch and 120 Hz display with a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. While RedMagic has not revealed global launch pricing yet, we suspect the RedMagic 10 Air will retail for more than its CNY 3,499 (~$479) starting price in China.
