Lenovo teases the upcoming Yoga 16s 2022 with more display specs
Lenovo started teasing the Yoga 16s 2022 as part of its Chinese Autumn Festival showcase. Despite the last term in its new name, this device looks very like a 16-inch version of the existing 14s, which in itself gives a strong impression of being a next-gen, slimmer (and, thereby, potentially ports-shedding) ThinkBook 14s Yoga.
Returning to this upcoming 16-inch prospect, the OEM now revealed that the patently display-centric laptop will have a 2.5K resolution. This potentially high-quality screen will be augmented with a maximum brightness rating of 500 nits, HDR support and 100% of the sRGB color space.
The 14s has a refresh rate of 90Hz; however, the Yoga 16s 2022 will outdo it through becoming Lenovo's newest 120Hz touchscreen device on its launch. Then again, this new teaser leaves the device's other specs in the dark. For reference, its possible 14-inch counterpart has a Ryzen 7 5800HS platform and runs Windows 10.
Therefore, there is potential for more or less the same in the 16s, although it is possible it will ship with Windows 11 out of the box instead.
