Lenovo prepares to launch five new Windows 11 laptops in China with Ryzen and Core options for Yoga and Xiaoxin SKUs
Lenovo has a big launch date in China on September 28 when five new laptops will be made available. Four of the models are Xiaoxin laptops and there is also a Yoga notebook being released. Arguably one of the standout features of these SKUs is that they will come running on Windows 11, so there should be no operating system upgrade concerns for buyers of these devices. The upcoming models and their processor options are as follows:
- Lenovo Xiaoxin Air 14 Plus 2021 – Intel Core i5-1155G7
- Lenovo Xiaoxin Air 14 Plus 2021 – AMD Ryzen 5 5600U or Ryzen 5 5800U
- Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 – Intel Core i5-11320H
- Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro 14 2021 – AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
- Lenovo Yoga 13s 2021 – AMD Ryzen 5 5600U
Buyers of the Xiaoxin Air 14 laptops will be treated to a 60 Hz display with a 2240x1400 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. The Intel model is fitted with a dGPU in the form of the Nvidia GeForce MX450 while the Ryzen Windows 11 laptops make do with Radeon Graphics units with 7 CUs or 8 CUs. Unsurprisingly, the Pro laptops offer a bit more oomph, with 90 Hz displays and 2880x1800 resolution (16:10). The Yoga 13s is the lightweight option, coming in at just 1.2 kg (2.65 lbs).
