Still, I think that mysterious performance dips in regular use -- probably the laptop throttles down to save battery -- and average battery life during gaming stops me from recommending the Legion 5i wholeheartedly. I like this laptop but I like it with caveats. So, here is my recommendation. Do consider the Legion 5i but only if you do not mind keeping it plugged in during your gaming stints, and the random hiccups it may throw at you. There are no perfect gaming laptops in this price range. The Legion 5i too is not perfect. But it is mighty good and gets the job done.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU: Mid-range gaming laptop graphics card based on the Ampere GA107 chip. Offers 2048 shaders and is offered in different TGP (power consumption) variants from 35 to 80 Watt with different clock speeds and therefore performance. Older variant with 4GB VRAM.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
