There has been a lot of chatter about Nothing's smartphone lineup for 2025, and that chatter has grown louder now that Nothing has confirmed a launch event will hold on the 4th of March. While many think it will be the Nothing Phone (3) which has been confirmed to be a flagship phone, new info suggests that won't be the case. Now, a new leak has revealed details of two new phones which are likely to be unveiled at the March 4 event.
The two phones are reported to be the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro according to Android Headlines. The latter seems to be the device initially reported to be the Nothing Phone (3a) Plus. Notwithstanding, this will be the first Nothing smartphone with a pro
suffix. The source not only reveals the names but a few key specs and SKU details.
Some specifications of the Nothing Phone (3a) have already been reported such as the display, processor, cameras, battery capacity, and charging speed. In addition to these, the Phone (3a) will be available in two configurations — 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB — and sold in Black and White color options.
No technical specifications of the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro were revealed, but according to the source, it will be available in a single configuration that has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Save for the CMF Phone 1 (curr. available on Amazon for $289), Nothing phones don't have a MicroSD card slot, so it is not expected that the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will support storage expansion.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will also be available in two colors — Black and Gray, but there's a possibility the black might be different from that of the non-pro model. Like the Nothing Phone (3a), the Phone (3a) Pro should ship with Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15.
There are no pricing details, but it goes without saying that the Nothing Phone (3a) will cost less than the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.
Going by the recent leaks, it doesn't seem as if the Nothing Phone (3) flagship will be announced on March 4, but it won't be unsurprising if Nothing teases the device ahead of its arrival later in the year.
