The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 series is set to launch globally soon. A leak has now revealed the prices for the European market in advance, ranging from the affordable Redmi Note 17 4G with a 108-megapixel camera to the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max with a massive battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 series was officially unveiled in China in mid-July. Since the Redmi Note 15 ($206 on Amazon) was already available internationally, it comes as no surprise that the Redmi Note 17 series is also set to launch globally. Ytechb has now managed to uncover the reportedly final European prices for these mid-range smartphones. According to this information, the Redmi Note 17, the Redmi Note 17 Pro, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will be offered at the following prices:

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 4G (4 GB / 128 GB): €250
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 4G (6 GB / 256 GB): €300
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 5G (6 GB / 256 GB): €400
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro (6 GB / 256 GB): €500
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max (8 GB / 256 GB): €600

Xiaomi is reportedly adjusting the specifications of these smartphones. For example, the international version of the Redmi Note 17 5G is said to feature a 108-megapixel main camera, instead of the 50-megapixel camera found on the model sold in China. With prices ranging from €500 to €600, the Pro models in particular are significantly more expensive globally than in China.

If Xiaomi largely adopts the specs of the Redmi Note 17 Pro from the Chinese model, this could result in a device with a less-than-attractive price-to-performance ratio. That’s because the mid-range smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 50 MP main camera that’s paired with only a 2 MP sensor. At least in China, Xiaomi includes a massive 9,000 mAh battery and a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate that reaches a peak HDR brightness of 3,500 nits.
