Slim Ugreen charger launches with 100W fast charging support and affordable price

The Ugreen Nexode Air 100W Slim charger is a new power adapter that has been introduced in China. It’s basically the upgraded variant of the 45W charging brick that we have recently reviewed.
While the Nexode Air 45W Slim comes with a single USB-C port, the 100W version has a three-port configuration. Among the three, there are two Type-C ports and one USB-A. Ugreen notes that the two USB-C ports can deliver up to 100W, while the Type-A port can deliver up to 22.5W.
When three devices are connected to the fast charger, USB-C1 will offer up to 80W, while USB-C2 and USB-A can offer a combined power of 15W. There’s support for multiple fast charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PD 2.0, QC 3.0, and SSCP. This wide compatibility means that the adapter can power pretty much all devices, including smartwatches and drones.
Ugreen further highlights that with 100W fast charging support (3.3-feet 100W Baseus cable curr. $6.39 on Amazon), the new Nexode Air charger can get the 2022 MacBook Air to 53% in just 30 minutes. As for phones, the Redmi K90 Pro Max can get to 59%, the Honor 500 Pro to 55%, and the Huawei Mate 60 Pro to 29% within a 30-minute time frame.
With AirPyra technology, the power adapter is said to offer stable power under heavy loads. Of course, we found that the 45W Slim does get a little warm under loads, and hopefully, Ugreen has fixed it here.
Regarding availability, the Nexode Air 100W Slim has launched in China with an affordable price tag, CNY 189, around $28. The company didn’t share anything about the global launch yet, but Ugreen is expected to launch this fast charger in the international market soon.
