Nexode Air: Ugreen's new compact 100W GaN charger launches in the UK

Earlier this month, Ugreen introduced the Nexode Air 100W GaN charger in the US. The compact charger has now made its way to the UK, where it is available through Amazon for £39.99.

This Nexode Air model bumps the maximum output to 100W, making it better suited for charging laptops, tablets, and handheld gaming PCs than the earlier 45W and 65W models. According to Ugreen, it can charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro to 55% in 30 minutes, especially when paired with the included 100W USB-C cable.

One of the biggest highlights is its compact design. Ugreen says the charger is 74% smaller than Apple's original 96W charger, thanks to its GaNInfinity technology. Specificaly, it measures 1.39 × 1.35 × 2.39 inches and features foldable plugs, making it easier to slip into a bag when travelling. Despite its small size, the charger includes multiple built-in protection features against overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, and short circuits.

The Ugreen Nexode Air 100W GaN charger is currently available on Amazon UK for £39.99. Meanwhile, the 45W and 65W versions are available for £17.99 and £24.99, respectively, after discounts.
