Nexode Pro: Ugreen launches new 4-port 100W charger with smart display

A new version of the Nexode Pro 100W USB-C Charger has been released in Germany. The new adapter appears to be a follow-up model to the 5-port 100W smart display charger that launched in the US back in February and Europe in April. Featuring a strikingly similar design, the new model brings two key changes for the same price point.

For starters, the new model comes with four ports, consisting of three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, one USB-C port fewer than the original. As a result, it's also more compact, measuring 63 x 63 x 36 mm instead of 76 x 76 x 36 mm. Both models are available on Amazon Germany for €59.99, although the original is currently discounted to €49.98.

As mentioned, the new Nexode Pro can charge up to four devices at the same time. The USB-C1 and USB-C2 ports each deliver up to 100W when used on their own, with output automatically redistributed when more devices are connected. Even with all four ports in use, the charger still provides a 65W USB-C output, enough to power most laptops, alongside 20W and two 7.5W outputs for smaller devices. The USB-A port tops out at 22.5W.

Like the original model, the built-in display shows useful charging information, such as the active charging protocol, power output, and temperature. Speaking of which, the charger supports multiple fast-charging standards, including PPS and USB PD 3.0, so it can quick charge a wide range of devices, from iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones to MacBooks and other USB-C laptops.
