Ugreen releases affordable 5-port 160W charger with a smart display in more countries

Earlier this month, Ugreen launched the Nexode Pro 160W USB-C charger in the US. Featuring a 160W output and a smart display, the new accessory appeared to be a direct competitor to Anker's Prime 160W USB-C Charger. The big difference, though, was the price, with Ugreen undercutting Anker while also offering an extra USB-C port and USB-A port.
Ugreen has now released the Nexode Pro 160W in Europe. Just like in the US, it costs much less than Anker's equivalent, coming in at £89.99 in the UK and €89.99 in Germany. For comparison, the Anker Prime 160W USB-C Charger sells for £129.99/€129.99. Even better, the Nexode Pro 160W drops to just £56.99 in the UK and €65.99 in Germany with Prime Day discounts.
As previously reported, the Nexode Pro 160W features five charging ports, comprised of four USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Two of the USB-C ports support PD 3.1 at up to 140W, which is enough to power most laptops. The 160W output is split between the ports when multiple devices are connected, but you can still get 100W from one USB-C port when charging two or three devices, or 65W when charging five. Either way, it's enough to keep a laptop and four other devices powered.
Like the Anker Prime charger, the Nexode Pro 160W comes with a smart display that shows charging output, temperatures, and even custom emojis. We reviewed the charger and found it to be a capable replacement for multiple power adapters. It is, however, on the bulky side, though that shouldn't be a problem if you're using it on a desk. Buyers in Europe can now pick up the adapter through Amazon.
