Asus officially announces ROG Flux dock with 260 W power, 140 W charging and 1.9-inch LCD

The new ROG accessory, announced on August 24, 2026, combines laptop charging, display output and support for other devices in one unit. We recently covered Ugreen's slim 100 W charger, which is designed for portability. The ROG Flux takes a different approach, offering much higher power along with built-in display and connectivity features.

The ROG Flux provides up to 260 W of continuous total power, with up to 140 W available to a compatible laptop through USB-C Power Delivery. The remaining power can be used for devices such as a gaming handheld, phone, headset or keyboard. Asus says the dock can connect a laptop and other devices through a single cable.

The dock offers five charging modes for different situations. Silent Mode keeps the fan noise down, while Priority Mode can deliver up to 140 W to the main device. Dual Laptop Mode can charge two laptops at up to 100 W each. Smart Mode manages the power automatically, and Fan Turbo Mode runs the fan at full speed when the dock is using maximum power.

A 1.9-inch LCD on the front shows details such as real-time charging rates and file transfer speeds. A physical control knob lets users switch between modes and change settings without needing extra software. Asus also supports ROG screensaver themes, RGB lighting effects, and custom animations.

Up front, there are two USB-C ports with up to 100 W charging and 10 Gbps data transfer. Two USB-A ports are also included, offering up to 12 W output and 480 Mbps transfer speeds. Around the back, Asus adds another USB-C port with up to 140 W charging, a full-size HDMI 2.1 port, and the AC input.

The HDMI 2.1 port supports up to 4K resolution at 144 Hz or 8K at 30 Hz. Variable refresh rate support is also included for compatible displays.

Ugreen's Nexode Pro 300W (available on Amazon) is another high-power charger we have reviewed, with up to 300 W of total output and 140 W charging. Unlike the Ugreen model, the ROG Flux has a lower total power rating, but adds HDMI 2.1 and a different set of connectivity options.

The dock has a black chassis with ROG Slash design elements and an RGB-backlit ROG Fearless Eye. Full Aura Sync support allows the lighting to be synchronized with other compatible ROG hardware.

Asus has not yet announced pricing or regional availability for the ROG Flux Charger Dock.
