Last month, Pexar, owned by Lexar, introduced the PexarBolt Ultra Thunderbolt 5 dock. The premium high-end dock comes equipped with a whole bunch of inputs and outputs, as well as a 5-inch touch screen display.

Pexar stated that the dock will be available on Kickstarter in the coming weeks, and it appears that the campaign has now gone live. To be more specific, the Thunderbolt 5 dock will be available at an early bird price of $479 on Kickstarter. Once the Kickstarter campaign ends, the product will be available for $649.

The Pexar PexarBolt Ultra dock features a unique design with a flip-up display and a rotary dial on its side. The 5-inch display conveys information regarding the number of devices connected, power transfer details,  transfer activity,  the dock's temperature, and fan speed. The aforementioned metal dial allows customers to navigate the dashboard.
