Lenovo unveils compact 300W Legion gaming laptop charger

Lenovo is gearing up to hold a big launch event in China, which is set for May 19, 2026. At this event, the company will unveil a handful of new products. Previously, it confirmed two Legion gaming tablets and a Legion-branded phone, and teased many other brand-new entries. Now, it has been revealed that a GaN power adapter will also be released at the same event.
This new Legion gaming laptop charger is rated for 300W output, and with this fast charging rating, it should be compatible with pretty much all modern Legion-branded laptops. Here, it's worth noting that the adapter isn't the same as the recently launched Honor 360W adapter.
That Honor laptop charger is compatible with other laptops, and it ships with cables for Lenovo Legion models. This upcoming Legion 300W charger will only work with the company's laptops, as it has an integrated cable.
As for the design, the teaser image gives a hint at the compact form factor of the charger, but the adapter comes with a Type I plug, which is mostly common in China. Lenovo did launch Legion chargers with regular two-pin plugs before, but none of them really made an official debut in the global market.
The chances of this 300W Legion charger going global are slim as well. However, these power adapters are usually available to import from AliExpress (C245W curr. $51.94).
