Vivo has introduced a new smartphone in China: the Vivo X300 E. It features a high-end Snapdragon chipset, a triple rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens, and the largest battery in the Vivo X300 series.

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X300 E as the latest addition to its camera-focused X300 series. The company has introduced the phone in China, with no word yet on a global release.

Vivo X300 E design

Unlike the standard Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro, which feature a circular camera housing, the new Vivo X300 E has a square rear camera module. It features an aluminum frame and a glass back. The phone comes in black, white, and orange finishes. The black and orange options measure 7.79mm thick and weigh 199.5 grams. Meanwhile, the white option is 7.99mm thick and weighs 203 grams.

Vivo X300 E specifications

The Vivo X300 E sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,750 x 1,260 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a high-end Qualcomm chipset built on a 3nm process and paired with an Adreno 829 GPU. The smartphone has 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Vivo X300 E features a Zeiss-tuned camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS. On the front, the device has a 50MP camera capable of recording 4K video.

It packs a 7,200mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging but lacks wireless charging support. Notably, the X300 E has the largest battery in the Vivo X300 series, surpassing the 6,600mAh battery of the Vivo X300 Ultra (curr $1082.82 on TradingShenzhen). The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Other specifications include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and an infrared blaster.

Vivo X300 E pricing and availability

The Vivo X300 E starts at CNY 4,799 (~$709) for the 12GB/256GB configuration. The 12GB/512GB variant costs CNY 5,299 (~$782). The device is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale in China on July 31 at 9:00 AM local time.
