HMD unveils feature phone with Nokia Lumia-inspired design for ~$69

HMD has introduced a feature phone called the HMD Touch AI in China. Notably, the device resembles the HMD Touch 4G, which launched in October 2025 in India.

The company says the phone’s design is inspired by the Nokia Lumia lineup. It comes with a circular rear camera housing and a cyan finish. Additionally, HMD offers back cases in yellow, blue, and white, which are sold separately.

The phone sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen, along with 2MP cameras on the front and back. It packs a 1,950mAh battery and charges via a USB Type-C port. In terms of connectivity, the HMD Touch AI supports dual-SIM 4G, Wi-Fi, and hotspot functionality. The phone also features a customizable physical button on the top that can be configured to trigger an SOS alert.

The HMD Touch AI supports ByteDance’s Doubao AI model, enabling features such as Chinese-English translation, text-to-image generation, and more. The feature phone also supports Alipay for mobile payments.

Full specifications of the device are yet to be disclosed. That said, the HMD Touch AI is currently available for pre-order in China for CNY 469 (~$69.25).
