Leak: HMD's next clamshell phone is rumored to be a smartphone

HMD has churned out more than a handful of feature phones this year, but none of them have a clamshell/flip design. As a matter of fact, its last clamshell phone was the HMD 2660 Flip released at MWC Barcelona in March 2025. Nevertheless, we might be getting a new clamshell phone from the Finnish brand in the near future as a leak has revealed specs of an upcoming model. However, unlike its previous flip phones, this one is reported to be a smartphone.
The info comes from smashx_60, and according to a post on X, the phone is reported to launch as the HMD 2760 Flip 4G. The upcoming phone shares some of its specs with the Nokia 2760 Flip released in 2022, such as a 2.8-inch main display, a 1.77-inch cover display, and a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash.
However, unlike the Nokia 2760 Flip which shipped with KaiOS 3.1, the HMD 2760 Flip 4G is rumored to ship with Icon OS 13, an operating system said to be based on Android 13 Go. The phone will be powered by a Unisoc T310 processor and it will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It will also have a microSD card slot for adding up to an additional 128GB of storage.
Other features are a 2,500mAh battery capacity, an audio jack, a Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Hotpsot, Bluetooth, an SOS Key, and a touch pad. It will also come pre-installed with Google Mobile Services, Play Store, and the popular Snake game. According to the source, the HMD 2760 Flip 4G will be available in Black, Cyan, and Pink.
There's no info on when the HMD 2760 Flip 4G will be released and how much it will cost. However, we expect it to cost more than HMD's other feature phones such as the HMD Barbie Phone (available on Amazon for $99.99), since it has better specs and runs Android.
