Feature phone with Nokia Lumia-inspired design tipped for global launch

The HMD Touch AI was launched in China in July 2026. It is a feature phone touted by the company as having a design language inspired by the Nokia Lumia lineup. The device sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 1,950mAh battery that charges via a USB Type-C port, dual-SIM 4G support, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
According to tipster @smashx_60 on X, the HMD Touch AI will soon be available in markets outside China. The leak specifically mentions Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand, among other markets. It is also said to ship with a free 8GB microSD card, a case, and a screen protector.
Additionally, the tipster claims that the device will offer more features than the HMD Touch 4G, which launched in India in October 2025. The global variant of the HMD Touch AI is said to come with what the tipster calls a "Taobao AI Big Model Teen Edition," which will reportedly not require a subscription. Other features include Alipay for mobile payments and a QR code reader.
The HMD Touch 4G comes in Cyan and Dark Blue options. Meanwhile, the global variant of the HMD Touch AI may also come in additional colorways, including white and gold. There are currently no concrete details on pricing for the global variant. In China, the HMD Touch AI is priced at CNY 469 (~$69.51).
