Leak reveals four Nokia feature phones with surprising new feature

The launch of four new Nokia-branded feature phones appears to be imminent. That’s because the HMD Global website at already lists four new models – the Nokia 200 4G, the Nokia 210 4G, the Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition, and the Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition. All four phones feature a relatively classic Nokia design, new elements include the metallic frame around the selfie camera and the speaker above the display.
While the product pages aren't available yet, the images already hint at a new feature. The large center button directly below the display now bears an "AI" logo along with a graphic that suggests an audio feature. This is a clear indication that the feature phones will be able to use an AI voice assistant like ChatGPT. Since this only requires a voice recording or a transcript to be sent to the AI provider’s servers, this kind of AI integration doesn’t require particularly high performance.
A voice assistant can be particularly useful on a feature phone, since these devices have limited access to apps and websites, making it harder to look up information manually than on a smartphone. The fact that the phones are already listed on HMD Global’s publicly accessible website is a clear indication that the launch is planned for the coming days or weeks, however, specific details regarding the launch date, price, or technical specifications of the four models are not yet available.
