The DRAM crisis is affecting Fujifilm, as the manufacturer is raising the list prices of select cameras by up to €500. The Fujifilm X100 VI compact camera, the X-T50 mirrorless camera, the GFX100 II medium-format camera, and several other models will become more expensive on September 1.

The DRAM crisis is driving up the cost not only of RAM and NAND flash memory, but also of semiconductors, including processors and camera sensors. Fujifilm is now taking action. According to information from Fuji-Store, the manufacturer will raise the suggested retail price for at least five camera models on September 1, 2026.

The Fujifilm X-E5, the Fujifilm X-T50, and the Fujifilm X-S20 will each cost €100 more, with this price increase applying to both the respective camera bodies and any lens kits. The price of the Fujifilm X100 VI ($2,119 on Amazon) will even rise by €200 to €1,999. Anyone looking to buy a Fujifilm GFX100 II will soon have to pay €8,499, €500 more than before. This means the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for this camera will be €1,000 higher than the list price of the Hasselblad X2D II, which, with its 100 MP medium-format sensor, competes directly with the GFX100 series.

Details regarding price increases in the rest of the world are not yet known, but it is likely that Fujifilm will raise prices globally. According to the Fuji Store, these price increases are due to rising production costs. Since the DRAM crisis is affecting all camera manufacturers, it is conceivable that further price increases will follow. Here’s how the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for Fujifilm cameras will change on September 1, 2026:

ModelMSRP through August 31MSRP as of September 1
Fujifilm X100 VI€1,799€1,999
Fujifilm X-E5€1,549€1,649
Fujifilm X-T50€1,499€1,599
