The IKEA Blomprakt Bluetooth speaker lamp was recently released in various countries worldwide. This product was announced in July 2025 when the brand’s Nattbad Bluetooth speaker was released. It has similar functionality to the older Symfonisk Speaker lamp, which is being discontinued after the IKEA and Sonos partnership ended.
IKEA’s Blomprakt is described as an atmospheric light with an LED light source. It has an adjustable-angle shade, allowing you to cast light in the direction of your choice, and this part also houses the speaker. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to play music, a podcast or an audiobook from a connected phone or laptop. Plus, this can be used to connect several Bluetooth speakers for amplified sound in multi-speaker mode.
The Blomprakt’s speaker is controlled by a knob on the front of the device. Users can push to play or pause, double-press to skip, and twist to adjust the volume. The device supports Spotify Tap, allowing users to quickly resume their listening session by tapping the knob. This function can also be used to start playing songs based on your listening history. There is a separate button at the rear to control the light, switching it on or off, or adjusting the brightness. It is worth noting that this speaker lamp is not compatible with the IKEA Smart Home app and does not support the Matter protocol.
You can now buy the IKEA Blomprakt Bluetooth speaker lamp in countries like the US, the UK and France for $59.99/£40.00/€59.99. Customers can choose between three colors: beige, black and light blue. It measures 8.7 x 8.1 x 8.8 inches (~22.0 x 20.6 x 22.4 cm).
