IKEA refreshes range of affordable braided and plastic cables

IKEA recently refreshed its line-up of cables in markets worldwide. The three existing ranges, Lillhult, Rundhult and Sittbrunn, have been updated with a range of new colorways at the same low prices. These appear to be replacing the brand’s older products, released in 2023 and 2024.

Cables in the Lillhult range have a braided outer and a 480 Mbps data transfer rate. First up, there is a 4'11"/1.5m long USB-A to USB-C cable with a blue/orange finish. There are two Lightning options, each 4'11"/1.5m long: USB-C to Lightning in pink/beige and USB-A to Lightning in dark reddish brown. Plus, there are three 60W USB-C to USB-C cables, deep green and orange/lilac 4'11"/1.5m options and a longer 9'10"/3.0m cable in lilac.

There are two new Rundhult cables, both 4'11"/1.5m long USB-C to USB-C. Again, they have a braided outer, offered in black/white and beige/blue. While these have the same 480 Mbps data transfer rate, they support a higher maximum power of 100W. The final three cables are in the Sittbrunn series. There is a 3'3"/1.0m long USB-A to USB-C cable in lilac, again supporting 480 Mbps data transfers. The other options are 3'3"/1.0m long USB-C to USB-C cables in white and light green, for a 480 Mbps data transfer rate and 60W power.

The current availability of these new IKEA Lillhult, Rundhult and Sittbrunn cables differs by country, seemingly linked to existing stock levels of older products. You can find a price list below.
