The Philips Hue Bridge Pro is receiving a new update: software version 2071112020. This is the second release for the product, tackling an issue which could prevent the device from starting as expected. At the time of writing, it seems that this problem has not affected the standard Hue Bridge.

A new update has arrived for the Philips Hue Bridge Pro. This advanced version of the brand’s smart home hub was released in September 2025. The latest release, software version 2071112020, is the second for the device, following an early October update which brought improvements for the Room view.

Philips Hue Bridge Pro software version 2071112020 tackles a start-up issue for the device. According to the release notes, in “very rare cases”, the Bridge Pro start-up process could not complete, leaving the LEDs flashing white. This seemed to occur when the LAN IP address of the Bridge Pro was in the range 10.x.x.x/8 (netmask 255.0.0.0). It appears that this issue did not affect the standard Philips Hue Bridge (curr. $52.79 at Amazon).

Announced on October 22nd, software version 2071112020 is expected to reach all users of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro in the coming days. It should be pushed automatically to the device, provided you have automatic updates switched on in the Philips Hue app. You can check this by going to Settings > Software update > Automatic update.
