The Huawei Band is coming back this year for its 10th iteration, according to the typically reliable leaker Fixed Focus Digital. Furthermore, the OEM's fitness tracker might not debut on its own.
The Band could use a design update, given the similarity between its predecessor and the Band 8; however, going by the example of other devices such as the Mate X6 and Watch GT 5, it might not get one.
It should be attractive in terms of its price, however, given that the Band 9 is available on Amazon for $56.90 right now.
The Band 10 might also debut with the latest optimizations of HarmonyOS for fitness trackers.
It might also integrate with something new called "Arc", a product vaguely described by Fixed Focus Digital as an upcoming pair of 'sports buds' of the type that come with in-built ear-hooks to help them stay in place during work-outs.
"Arc" could also conceivably consist of open-ear buds, although Huawei already has its FreeClip line of wearables for that category.
The Huawei "Arc" and Band 10 are now tipped to launch in 2025 from March to April, possibly at around the same time as other products such as the Pocket 3 clamshell smartphone.
