Honor 9X set for stable EMUI 10 global rollout as Huawei dawdles with the Mate 20 Lite and P30 Lite
Honor launched the EMUI 10 beta program for the Honor 9X in a number of regions of a while ago. Since then, however, there's been no tangible news of the stable rollout of Android 10. Thankfully, dawn appears to be close for the phone.
Owners of the device quizzed the company on Twitter for an update on the state of things, and the company had this to say:
We are at the final stages of releasing the software, we request you to kindly stay tuned to our official pages, HiCare App for release announcements on stable version of Android 10 for your device. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Of course, the company would say that. The beta update has been out for a while after all, and that signifies the final stages of development. That said, it's still something for owners of the Honor 9X to hold on to.
Meanwhile, last week, we reported that Huawei was sending out the stable EMUI 10 update globally to owners of the Mate 20 Lite and P30 Lite. That rollout appears to be going extremely slowly, though, as most of our readers in Europe have still not received the EMUI 10 update. The update has verifiably started going out in several regions, though, so it's just a matter of time at this point.
