As Huawei kicks off the rollout of EMUI 10.1 to its current and last-gen flagships, its Honor sub-brand isn't forgotten. The update comes in the form of Magic UI 3.1 and is now slowly becoming available on Honor flagships like the Honor 20 Pro and Honor V20.

Huawei recently unveiled EMUI 10.1, an Android 10-based minor update to EMUI 10 that brings a slew of features to the company's eligible phones. The update also takes the guise of Magic UI 3.1 when it makes its way over to Huawei's sub-brand, Honor.

As the EMUI 10.1 update is sent out to Huawei's current and last-gen flagships including the Mate 20 Pro, P30 Pro, and Mate 30 Pro, the Magic UI 3.1 update is also slowly being dished out to the high-value Honor equivalents of those phones. The Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, Honor V30, and Honor V30 Pro are currently getting their first taste of Magic UI 3.1. Like with the EMUI 10.1 rollout, this is an internal beta release, and exclusive to China.

The Honor V30 (OXF-AN00) and Honor V30 Pro (OXF-AN10) are getting the update with the software version "Magic UI 3.1.0.75". The Honor 20 (YAL-Al00, YAL-TL00) and Honor 20 Pro (YAL-AL10) are getting software update "Magic UI 10.1.0.116". The Honor V20 (PCT-AL10, PCT-TL10) is getting the update with the same software version as the Honor 20 phones.
