Google's Pixel 10a is available to buy now with free limited-time purchase perks

Last month Google launched the Pixel 10a as its new affordable variant of the Pixel 10 series. Since the announcement, the phone has been available to pre-order. Now, it is finally available to buy, but the pre-order perks are still on.

The Pixel 10a starts at $499 for the base model, which is the same price that its predecessor, the Pixel 9a cost at launch. For that amount, you get 128GB of storage, but an additional $100 gets you the 256GB version. Regardless of the variant you purchase, you get the same perks.

Both Google and official retail partners such as Amazon provide buyers with two purchase perks. There's the option of a free pair of Pixel Buds 2a which is worth $129. You can also choose the option of a $100 gift card if you are buying from Amazon, or a $100 Google Store credit if you are purchasing from the Google Store. Both Google and Amazon say the offers are available until 11:59 PM on March 11.

The Pixel 10a has a 6.3-inch display with a 1080 x 2424 resolution. Protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, the display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness mode of 3000 nits. The Pixel 10a is powered by the Tensor G4, the same processor inside the Pixel 9a. It even comes in the same configuration - 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

For its rear cameras, there is a 48MP primary sensor paired with a 13MP ultrawide angle camera, while the front-facing camera is a 13MP sensor. Both cameras are capable of recording in 4K. The Pixel 10a has a 5100mAh battery capacity with support for 30W fast wired charging and 10W wireless charging.

It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, satellite SOS support, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, dual SIM support (nano SIM and eSIM), stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 6.0, and USB Type-C 3.2 port.

Google ships the Pixel 10a with Android 16, and like the rest of the Pixel 10 family, it will receive 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates. It is available to buy in Berry, Fog, Lavender and Obsidian.
