Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57: leak reveals key specs of Samsung's new A-series phones

While we await an official release date for Samsung's new Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 smartphones, a leak has revealed the full spec sheet for the two smartphones. The source of the leak is Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. OnLeaks, and he has partnered with Android Headlines for the publication.
Galaxy A37
The Galaxy A37 will have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2340 × 1080 resolution. The phone will be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor, and depending on the region, buyers will be able to purchase it in 6GB or 8GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable storage.
For its cameras, the Galaxy A37 will have a 50MP primary sensor on the back alongside a 12MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Up in front, and sitting inside the hole punch, is a 12MP f/2.2 sensor. Samsung will ship the phone with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, while a 5,000mAh battery that charges at up to 45W sits under the hood.
The Galaxy A37 will also have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, dual SIM support with optional eSIM. The leak also reveals that the phone weighs 196 grams and measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4 mm. When it launches, it will be available in Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White, but knowing Samsung, some colors might not be available in all regions.
Galaxy A57
The Galaxy A57 will also have a 6.7-inch 2340 × 1080 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, it will swap the Exynos 1480 for the more powerful Exynos 1680. Interestingly, the source says Samsung will offer it in a single RAM option which is 8GB. We don't know if it's because of the ongoing RAM issue, but the Galaxy A56 launched in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM variants. Nevertheless, buyers will be able to choose between 128GB or 256GB of storage, which like that of the Galaxy A37, is non-expandable.
The camera setup is no different either, as it is also a 50MP + 12MP ultrawide + 5MP macro triple rear camera setup, and a 12MP front-facing camera. Battery capacity is also 5,000mAh with 45W fast wired charging. Like last year's Galaxy A56, Samsung hasn't even bothered to add support for wireless charging as is available on the Pixel 10a (available on Amazon for $499), which will be its main rival in the United States.
Measuring 161.5 x 76.9 x 6.9 mm and weighing 192 grams, the Galaxy A57 will also ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and will be available in Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.
Samsung is yet to announce a launch date for the two Galaxy A smartphones, but an earlier report said they should arrive this month. The two phones are also expected to cost more than their predecessors.
