Garmin announces new beta update to fix battery drain issue for smartwatches

The change log for beta update 15.08 is relatively short, stating that the software addresses a battery drain issue. Many users reported in the forum's bug reports section faster-than-expected battery drain after installing version 15.06. Unfortunately, Garmin has not confirmed what was causing the problem or how this has been fixed. Plus, it remains to be seen whether this release significantly improves battery life.
