GameSir has now opened pre-orders for its latest high-end wireless controller. Designed for Xbox, the GameSir G7 Pro can also be used wirelessly on Android and PC with its built-in gyroscope, Mag-Res TMR joysticks, Hall effect or Micro Switch triggers and 1,000 Hz polling rate. GameSir has thrown in an early discount for those who pre-order its new controller, too.

The GameSir G7 Pro has been a long time coming, having debuted in January during CES 2025. As promised, the company has opened pre-orders for the controller in its Mech White and Shadow Ember finishes. A rival to the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 (curr. $53.91 on Amazon), the GameSir G7 Pro supports wired, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connection modes like many high-end controllers.

However, the controller only supports Xbox consoles in wired mode despite receiving Designed for Xbox certification. Apparently, GameSir hopes to introduce a wireless Xbox version before the end of the year; specifics remain unknown for now, though. Also, GameSir notes that the G7 Pro's gyroscope will only work when paired with a PC.

At any rate, the G7 Pro features a 1,200 mAh battery, a 3.5 mm jack for use in 2.4 GHz and wired modes and compatibility with G7 series swappable faceplates. Moreover, GameSir has included Mag-Res TMR joysticks with a 1,000 Hz polling rate on PC with wired or 2.4 GHz connection modes. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed the polling rate when using the G7 Pro via Bluetooth or wired on other platforms.

GameSir does not restrict the use of the controller's two trigger modes to a particular system, though. Instead, you can freely set either trigger to Hall effect or Micro Switch modes for smooth and fast trigger styles, respectively. While the G7 Pro retails for $79.99, applying the coupon code G7PROWHEN will drop the controller's price to $76. At the time of publication, GameSir hopes to begin shipping pre-orders on July 8. Please see the company's website for more details.
