GMKtec NucBox K4 available globally with powerful AMD Phoenix-HS APU from US$519
GMKtec is now selling the K4 globally through its website and on Amazon. Re-branded as the NucBox K4, the 123 x 112 x 43.2 mm is available as a barebones unit or with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. As we discussed previously, the NucBox K4 relies on the Ryzen 9 7940HS, the most powerful entry in AMD's Phoenix-HS series.
Positioned between the Ryzen 7 7840U and Ryzen 9 7945HX in terms of CPU performance, the Ryzen 9 7940HS has eight Zen 4 CPU cores, 16 threads, a 35 W TDP and a Radeon 780M iGPU. GMKtec complements the powerful APU with twin HDMI ports, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet connection, five USB ports, including USB4, and a front-mounted 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Moreover, the mini-PC has Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Currently, GMKtec sells the NucBox K4 on Amazon with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD for US$699.99 with a US$100 coupon applied. Alternatively, the same configuration can be picked up from GMKtec's website for US$689 for the next few days or US$519 if you opt for the barebones edition.
