Technical
Fall Guys is a mix between the battle royale and jump 'n run genres. Although the engine hardly demands much from the hardware and is currently limited to 60 fps, a stable frame rate is still extremely important for a successful game. Especially in the first levels, up to 60 players are in view, and stable performance is the basis for successful progress. The further you advance in the levels, the less demanding the game becomes as more and more players fall.
The various quality levels (Low, Medium, and High presets) differ only slightly visually. Even the lowest quality level is visually quite acceptable.
Benchmarks
As a benchmark sequence, we use a run through the first level of the "Main Show" season and record the performance with CapframeX. Although Fall Guys selects the level randomly, performance is relatively comparable in our tests. Nevertheless, the results shouldn't be compared to each other on a frame by frame basis and rather represent a classification.
Results
Fall Guys can even be played well on many integrated graphics cards in the lowest detail level and at a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. We currently see the lower limit at a UHD Graphics 620 or the small integrated Vega GPUs. The frame rate should not drop below 30 fps, since it would otherwise significantly reduce the chances of success.

FHD (1920x1080)
If you increase the resolution and level of detail, dedicated graphics cards are required. Entry-level cards like the old GeForce MX150 or even strong integrated graphics cards like the Vega 7 are sufficient for the Medium preset and 1080p. As soon as you look at slightly stronger mobile graphics cards like the Radeon Pro 5500M in the MacBook Pro 16 (or a GeForce GTX 1650, for example), you can play in 1080p at a constant 60 fps with high details.

QHD (2560x1440)
You don't need a strong GPU for QHD either; the Radeon Pro 5500M was also sufficient for a constant 60 fps in our test.

UHD (3840x2160)
Only Ultra HD requires the use of a dedicated gaming graphics card in the laptop. However, the old GTX 1080 Max-Q is already sufficient to achieve a constant 60 fps. Consequently, an RTX 2060 should be able to provide enough performance here as well.

Verdict
Fall Guys is a fun multiplayer game with low hardware requirements. Even entry-level gaming laptops should have no problems running the game at maximum details, Full HD resolution, and a constant 60 fps. You can even have a lot of fun with Fall Guys on multimedia laptops and office laptops with stronger integrated graphics cards. Even the minimum detail level doesn't diminish the gaming fun too much. Only absolute entry-level devices or old laptops with Pentium/Celeron CPUs and integrated graphics will fail to handle Fall Guys.
