Deal | Discounted Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PS5 bundle releases on May 28th during PlayStation Days of Play sale

Early in May, leaker billbil-kun revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PS5 bundles were incoming. Now, gamers know the packages will launch on May 28th, to kick off the PlayStation Days of Play sale. The pricing may surprise buyers at €50 less than the consoles usually sell for. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PS5 Slim Digital bundle will cost €449, while the Standard version with disc drive is €499.

Details on PS5 deals for the U.S. and other regions are uncertain at this point (Update: U.S. pricing now confirmed by Insider Gaming). When reports of the configurations surfaced, billbil-kun expected the PS5 Slim Digital bundle to sell for $399.99. Meanwhile, the PS5 Slim Standard alternative would cost $449.99. Some analysts have anticipated price increases in the U.S. to at least match adjustments in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. So far, the price hikes have not materialized.

Despite Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 remains on Sony's consoles. Also, the PS5 release still routinely sells for close to full price. However, as a result of Microsoft's deal with the publisher, billbil-kun notes that the bundles will not include bonuses or DLC. Neither option will contain a physical disc, and buyers must enter codes to download the title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is free as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. That might make the new PS5 bundles slightly less attractive. Fortunately, the PlayStation Days of Play also offers PS5 deals on consoles without the game. The PS5 Slim Standard and Digital systems will be discounted by €100, resulting in €449.99/€399.99 prices. From May 28th to June 11th, PlayStation Plus subscriptions and accessories like the PSVR2 and DualSense controller will also be on sale.
