Deal | The Walking Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, and more on sale in Steam's new fest

Steam’s Zombies vs. Vampires Fest is now live, and it has slashed prices on some of the biggest horror and survival hits. From May 26 through June 3, you can get some steep discounts on dozens of titles featuring zombies and vampires.

While the list of games on sale will be more than a mile long, we’ve cherry-picked a handful of the fest’s standout bargains to help you navigate the carnage -

Narrative-Driven Horrors

• The Last of Us Part I – Experience Joel and Ellie’s harrowing journey through a pandemic-ravaged America, now at its lowest price since launch.
• Dying Light & Dying Light 2 Stay Human – Parkour through crumbling cities overrun by the infected, where every rooftop scramble could end in a face-full of zombie gore.
• Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition & Dead Island 2 – Tropical locales have never felt so vicious. Split your time between looting shorelines and fending off feral hordes.

Run-and-Gun Carnage

• Left 4 Dead 2 – Valve’s co-op classic is down to under a dollar. Team up (or get left behind) as you mow through hordes of the undead.
• Killing Floor 2 – This game features frantic wave-based action and grotesque boss fights, perfect for anyone with itchy trigger fingers.
• World War Z – In this squad-based shooter, you will encounter endless swarms of zombies.

Dracula Specials

• Evil West – Play as a beefed-up Van Helsing in this pulp-inspired beat ’em up.
• Vampire Survivors – The indie roguelike that spawned countless imitators, now more affordable than ever.

As you can see, a lot of player-favourite titles are on sale like Dying Light, Vampire Survivors, and The Last of Us Part I. The prices have been slashed by up to 75%, which, for us, means a great opportunity to expand game libraries. However, some of the genre-defining classics like V Rising, Castlevania, and Resident Evil are missing from this fest. Nonetheless, Steam’s Zombies vs Vampires is a good chance to get some classic hits at a good discount.
