Leaker Jasper Ellens has stumbled upon new evidence that indicates DJI will be releasing its next mini-branded drone sooner rather than later. For context, HoverAir has just brought its latest 249 g drone to Indiegogo with a few special features up its sleeve. Meanwhile, Insta360 has confirmed that its Antigravity A1 drone will not launch until early next year.
By contrast, DJI will be focusing on the launch of its Mic Mini and Mic 2 (curr. $314 on Amazon) wireless microphone successors until next Thursday. In the meantime, Ellens claims to have seen pricing for all of DJI's first-party Mini 5 Pro accessories. Specifically, the leaker alleges that DJI intends to charge the following amounts for various key accessories and services:
- DJI Care Refresh 1-Year Plan: $80.00
- DJI Care Refresh 2-Year Plan: $129.00
- Intelligent Flight Battery Plus: $99.00
- Intelligent Flight Battery: $69.00
- ND Filters Set (ND8/32/128): $55.00
- Propellers: $19.00
- Quick-Release Propeller Guard (propeller included): $69.00
- Two-Way Charging Hub: $49.00
As Ellens notes, these prices match those DJI currently charges for the Mini 4 Pro. Thus, it is not of the realms of possibility that the Mini 5 Pro will match its predecessor's $759 launch pricing, too. Unfortunately, Ellens has not been able to confirm as much yet. Instead, they report that the Mini 5 Pro will be available in Standard Combo and Fly More Combo packages. While there have been rumours of a September 16, 2025 release, nothing concrete has emerged yet.
